A quick post just for those who still live under the delusion that a “liberal media bias” is operating in the United States:
For the last several years, Media Matters has reported on the virtual stranglehold the conservatives have had on our media, dominating most of the major talk show forums. At the time, the rationale given was that the conservatives held the power of government, so they reasonably got more face time on TV.
Well…then explain this graphic:
That’s right – by a fairly disgusting margin, Republicans are being given CONSIDERABLY more airtime than Democrats. It’s not just FOX…it’s all of the networks. More coverage is here on Think Progress.
So…if it seemed like you were hearing more of the GOP criticisms of the stimulus package than you were hearing Democratic support…you weren’t imagining things.
